My name is Kelsey and I am so excited you’ve stumbled across my website!
When I had my son, I had no clue what I was doing. I started babysitting when I was 12, I have a degree in elementary education, I did all the research on pregnancy, birth, and raising a child, yet when he was actually here, I was not prepared. We had some of the items, but I didn’t truly know what I would need/use and what would work for our family.
There are lots of people in my life who gave my husband and I advice, and gave me lists of their favorite products. This was all so helpful, but a lot of the items were things we couldn’t afford, or items that I couldn’t see myself using. They told me what they liked, but didn’t tell me why they liked it. I need to know reasoning!
I wanted a list of products that worked for those in my life, and I wanted to know why they worked. I started compiling a list of things we used in a spreadsheet and added a column for if I would recommend it and why.
I realized that I loved gathering information and wanted to have one place to share with others who are caregivers. I decided to create this website as that place! It combines several things that I love – products I love, sharing what has worked (and hasn’t worked) with others, and connecting with other moms and caregivers to get even more ideas!
